The Challenge

  • A large service organisation was operating a small PMO function which due to inefficient processes were struggling to add value, and were seen as a
    bottleneck to the governance process.
  • Information collection was a time consuming process, with little buy in from the project manager community.

The Solution

  • The programme director sought an automated reporting solution, called ezPMO developed by Andy Thomas.  It was set up and configured within two weeks.
  • The software-as-a-service offering integrated existing MS project planning tools with excel- & oracle-based cost reporting, with SharePoint-based risk, issues and dependency logs to produced a automated PowerPoint based progress report tailored for weekly control meetings and Monthly Board meetings from the same programme and project management data.
